New York Times shocker: The truth about Egypt slips out – Salon.com.

I think Patrick Smith is off in his own weeds here, but am posting this for further consideration. Smith neglects ENTIRELY the popular peaceful uprising that had  potential towards chaos and the potential for resetting the election to lead to an Egypt with inclusivist principles (including the Muslim Brotherhood) instead of the exclusivist direction things were headed.
